The 4-Cast is a high quality
multiple video/image processing system that displays two computer
and two analog video inputs on a single VGA or DVI type display.
Control of the 4-Cast is through the serial (RS-232, 422, 485)
or Ethernet port (RJ-45) and the control software installs
on Windows 2000 operating system or newer. Avitech's proprietary
control software (Galaxy) provides a user-friendly graphical
interface for complete control over the 4-Cast

4cast
The 4cast is the combination
module which combines two computer and two analog video inputs
onto a single display. Avitech's proprietary Galaxy software
allows you to switch between DVI and RGB for computer inputs
and composite, s-video, and component for video inputs.
A
single module can be used to show four images on a single
display for stand alone applications or up to 15 modules
can be digitally cascaded to display more images on a
single display for multi-module applications.
If your project
requires both computer and video inputs, the 4cast is your
solution.
Computer Inputs: Two 4x3 RGB (640x480 to 1600x1200)
or two DVI
Video Inputs: Two composite, s-video, or
component (software selectable)
Communication: RS-232, 422, 485, RJ-45
Output: Analog RGB and DVI (852x480 to 1600x1200
/ 1920x1080 / 1920x1200)
4cast - 8x2
The “8x2” in the 4cast-8x2 stands for 8x2 VGA
switcher that allows you to display a maximum of two out
of the eight
VGA inputs along with two composite sources, on one display.
Avitech's proprietary Galaxy software allows you to quickly
switch between the eight computer inputs to output to the
display.
A single module can be used to show up to four images
on a single display for stand alone applications or up to
15 modules can be digitally cascaded to display up to 60
images on a single display for multi-module applications.
If you need switching capabilities in your multi-viewing
application, then the 4-Cast-8x2 is the solution for you.
Computer Inputs: Eight RGB (640x480 to 1600x1200)
Video Inputs: Two composite
Communication: RS-232, 422, 485, RJ-45
Output: Analog RGB and DVI (852x480 to 1600x1200 / 1920x1080 / 1920x1200)
VCC-2vIP
The VCC-2vIP is the standard computer module and can take in two computer inputs
via DVI or RGB. Avitech's proprietary Galaxy software allows you to choose
which input you want to display.
A single module can be used to show two
images on a single display for stand alone applications or up to 15 modules
can be digitally cascaded to display up to 30 computer images on a single
display for multi-module applications.
All 4-Cast modules are inter-cascadable
meaning that you can digitally cascade the VCC-2vIP with the VCC-4cIP and
the 4cast.
If computer inputs is your primary source then this is the
module for you.
Computer Inputs: Two
4x3 RGB (640x480 to 1600x1200) and two DVI
Communication: RS-232,
422, 485, RJ-45
Output: Analog
RGB and DVI (852x480 to 1600x1200 / 1920x1080 / 1920x1200)
