Launches Operations with Avitech Systems
March 31, 2004 – Seoul,
Korea -- Avitech, an industry leader
in multi screen display technology, is proud to announce it has
successfully completed one of Korea’s largest multi-source
monitor wall systems for BSI(Broadband Solutions, Inc. : WWW.BSIASIA.COM)
Digital Media Center. BSI (a.k.a. Cable City) is one of the most
prominent cable TV providers in Korea.

BSI is a state of the art center for cable distribution, so we
prepared a strong set of due diligence before we selected the
Avitech Media Command Center. What convinced us on our decision
was its image quality, reliable distributed architecture and
future proof design” says Mr. Jae-Sung Sym, General Manager
of Technical Planning Team of BSI. “We have total of 191
channels, which also includes 60 channels of radio. By utilizing
this system, we will be able to have a real time overview of
our entire video and audio operation.”
The core of this monitoring solution consists of six display
groups of 6 Media Command Centers supporting analog video and
stereo analog audio (MCC-4aA) for video, 4 Audio Command Centers
(ACC-16) for radio, 10 Video Command Center (VCC-4cDVI + VCC-2vDVI)
for computer signals. All sources are displayed on fourteen 50” cubes
from Synelec and driven by using only two VCC-C1R controllers
running the latest version of Avitech’s Cosmos control
system.
