December 20, 2004 - Redmond, Washington, USA – Continuing to bring high quality & reliability to expanding regions, Avitech announces the successful use of their equipment at an historic event in Taiwan --- Parliamentary Elections, where Taiwan’s opposition alliance defeated President Chen Shui-bian’s DPP party.

CTV installed a fully-redundant Avitech Media Command Center system. With unmatched quality in the media monitoring domain, this particular application and architecture was designed around 24 sources on 2 screens and used to monitor and show all of the election precincts. The Avitech Virtual Monitor Wall System has been designed with redundancy in mind and provides the means to combine, view and manipulate various sources that CTV was required to monitor. Also, the modular design of the MCC means that the facility can optimize system designs for present and short term use, and economically add capabilities as increased future monitoring needs demand.
