Avitech, an industry leader in multi-image display technology & multiviewers, will be showcasing their latest product introduction at the upcoming InterBEE.  The VCC-8000, a multi-format data module designed for mission-critical video applications is quickly gaining market acceptance and will see its official Japanese launch at Interbee.

Interbee is Japan’s largest broadcast equipment show, and is held annually to showcase the newest technologies and emerging trends in broadcast.  It is sponsored by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) and supported by the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan (NAB-J) and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).

The new VCC-8000 line offers powerful image processing and a feature-rich tool set for incredibly flexible monitoring environments.  The advanced visual monitoring of video, and data signals is prefect for Television Studios, Production Studios, and OB Van applications.  Plus, it offers close integration with major providers of tally management systems, production switchers, and routing switchers.

The new modules allow simultaneous DVI and VGA computer inputs as well as HDTV and analog video inputs to be displayed in high resolution up to 1920 x 1200.

VCC modules can be used either as standalone units, or cascaded together to provide a much larger monitoring system.  The VCC-8000 is also completely compatible with Avitech’s Media Command Center MCC-8004 series of multiviewers.

Plus, the integrated on-screen display (OSD) offers Asian Character Support, tally functionality, alarm reporting, and a variety of text label options.
