The new office opening signifies Avitech’s continued strength and presence in the China market, serving such customers as Tian Jin TV, Shanghai TV, Jianxi TV, Guangxi TV, and IBC (International Broadcast Center – including support for China’s 10th annual National Games)

The China sales region will be led by Henry (Hong Li) Cai, industry veteran to the broadcast, and ProAV markets. Henry brings a vast amount of sales, service, technical and business development experience to Avitech gained at companies such as Evertz, Philips, Sony, Panasonic and others. Henry has also gained many years of experience working on the other side of the business – at customer facilities, including an engineering role at a Canadian Television Station such as The Weather Network and Corus Entertainment in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a certified professional engineer for the Chinese market, Henry complements the already strong Avitech team.
