March 6, 2007 - Redmond, Washington, USA – At CABSAT 2007, Avitech will be showing their multiviewer technology in the Media Links (G1-34), and Seachange International (A2-11) booths as well Seachange’s OB van.

To more effectively demonstrate their leading-edge products, both Media Links and Seachange will utilize Avitech’s multi-image display processing technology to give end-users the full scope of their product functionality in a variety of broadcast & production related applications.

Media Links, provider of uncompressed video transport solutions, will be using Avitech’s MCC-8004UE Universal Module to visually monitor a variety of incoming HD signals.  Media Link’s products allow broadcasters to transport high-quality HD signals in real time over existing SD equipment and circuits.  By using Avitech’s image processing equipment to monitor the signals, visitors to CABSAT will be able to experience the outstanding video quality and flexibility of both the Media Links and Avitech equipment.

Seachange International, provider of video servers, VOD servers, and turnkey VOD solutions will have a series of Avitech’s multiviewers both on their CABSAT booth, and in their outside broadcast truck.  By using Avitech’s image processors in conjunction with their server products, Seachange can show customers a variety of storage and content distribution demonstrations.  Plus, since Avitech’s multi-image processors are so compact, they are ideal for mobile vans and other space deficient facilities.
