Avitech's Media Command Center
is a Video Monitor Wall System. A single
module can be used for stand alone applications or multiple
modules can be used with an Avitech controller to create up
to eight display groups. Up to 30 modules can be assigned
to a single display for a maximum of 120 video windows. Our
modular approach allows you to create flexible and dynamic
systems to provide a monitoring solution for any viewing environment.

MODULES
UNIVERSAL (MCCh)
This series can handle
SD-SDI, HD-SDI and Composite signals simultaneously.
The MCC UNIVERSAL series drives full screen mode using the latest
Faroudja's DCDi™ image enhancement technology. With DCDi™,
the MCC UNIVERSAL Module will deliver stunning full
screen picture quality regardless of the input format. This
is a must have if you want to view the best video quality available for virtual monitor wall systems.
PRODUCTION (MCCp)
This series
can handle SD-SDI and composite signal simultaneously. The
Production series
implemented
the latest Faroudja's DCDi™ image enhancement technology.
With DCDi™, the MCC Production series will
deliver stunning picture quality regardless of the size of
the image. This is ideal for the production environment
where image quality is at a priority.
SD-SDI (MCCd)
This series
can handle SD-SDI and analog composite signal simultaneously. The
SD-SDI series
implemented
the latest Faroudja's DCDi™ image enhancement technology.
With DCDi™, the MCC SD-SDI series will
deliver stunning picture quality regardless of the size of
the image.
COMPOSITE ANALOG (MCCa)
This series
can handle analog composite signals. The
Composite Analog series
implemented
the latest Faroudja's DCDiTM image enhancement technology.
With DCDi™M, the MCC Composite Analog series will
deliver stunning picture quality regardless of the size of
the image.
HARDWARE OVERVIEW
VIDEO
Each MCC module has 4 video inputs via BNC
connectors. MCC modules can run as standalone
modules or can be cascaded to accommodate
more inputs. For multiple displays, each
group requires at least one MCC. The 4
inputs can be composite, SD or HD. Any
video window on the screen can be maximize
to full screen.
AUDIO
Four audio inputs in either Balanced Analog Stereo or AES/EBU are available
for on screen audio meters. Digital embedded audio can also be extracted
from the SD-SDI video stream. A balanced XLR output and audio looping allows you to monitor any audio source with an external device.
COMMUNICATION
There are two different communication protocols available for the MCC.
For a standalone quad display without an Avitech controller, an RS-232
option can be specified. If you are specifying a system with an Avitech
controller, both COM A and COM B will come equipped with RS-485. COM B is used for
cascading with other modules.
