APPLICATION ENGINEER

Job Description
We are a growing manufacturer of video/image processing equipment seeking an experienced Application Engineer to become a member of our sales team to meet sales goals and to develop relationships with dealers, system integrators, and potential clients throughout the country. The incumbant will represent Avitech by performing all levels of support including but not limited to sales, technical, and customer service.

Skills/Qualifications

• Good understanding and knowledge of Presentation/Broadcast equipment
• If you are new to AV/Broadcast equipment, you must be willing to learn the equipment and the industry
• Good knowledge of video/image processing systems
• Able to communicate technical information and give effective presentations
• Experience writing technical documents
• Experience building PC's with off the shelf components
• Experience resolving hardware issues such as but not limited to video cards, serial cards, and motherboards
• Basic understanding of software testing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Visio etc.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
